Gmina Nadarzyn - Nadarzyn commune is located in the south-west part of the mazowieckie voivodeship (province), in the district of Pruszków. The commune is made up of 15 solectwos - Polish smallest administrative village units.
Nadarzyn commune has over 9,000 inhabitants, of which 6,000 people constitute the active workforce. Unemployment rate in the area is considered low and remains at a level of around 10 %.
The area of the commune is 7,340 hectares comprising arable land (60%), meadows, pastures and woods. The largest woodland area is Młochów Forest, located in the south-west part of the commune. Within its boundaries there are two nature reserves: Młochowski Łęg (12 hectares) and Młochowski Grad (27 hectares).
12,000 hectares of land in the commune is intended for development and construction, for services, industry and detached housing estates. Annually, around 1,000 construction permits are granted, over half of which refer to private detached house constructions. Most of the land lies in the direct neighbourhood of a major motorway.
Nadarzyn commune is an attractive, peaceful and quiet place surrounded by picturesque landscapes and woods. Its major advantage is in the direct proximity of the capital of Poland, as well as its convenient location along the major route leading from Warsaw to Katowice (number 7).
